From the point of our initial referral to receiving our report, we have experienced excellent care at every level. We have been guided, listened to, validated, and supported by all members of staff that we have interacted with. At each stage of the assessment, I felt a level of empathy to mine and my family’s situation; the questions asked were delivered compassionately and without judgement and there was a sense that the Drs were being very thorough, trying to identify and understand all the details relevant to my son’s experience. I felt like the care of my son was important, we felt important, our experiences felt important. I would highly recommend other who believe an ASD assessment is relevant to their children to contact you.
Dr Vandana was very attentive and spoke to my daughter for a long time. My daughter felt that she was listened to and that Dr Vandana was patient, calm and gentle with her. She then explained her diagnosis and suggested treatment clearly to my daughter and me, and answered any questions that we had.
Admin relating to appointments was very good, especially when they had to be rescheduled due to the pandemic. Availability of weekend appointments was very good.The staff who saw my son were very good with him and clearly very knowledgeable. He was treated as an individual, not just a series of test scores. The report was extremely thorough and clear in providing a diagnosis.
We found the care Dr. Vandana gave my son and our family, professional and personal. She was very warm and found just the right approach for our son to open up. At every stage, she worked with us and took account of our wishes and opinions. We are grateful for the care.
Everything was perfect from start to finish, No problems at all very easy process. Finally found somebody who would believe what we were saying about our daughter and her needs. Since we got the reports from CMHC our daughters needs are taken seriously by the NHS and support networks. We owe a massive thanks for all your help and continued help.
