Dr Qandeel Ejaz is a speciality doctor, working in psychiatry for the past 7 years. She is working as a staff grade doctor in Berkshire Healthcare Foundation trust. She is also a section 12 approved doctor which means that Dr Ejaz is trained to assess patients, who need mental health act assessments and recommend detention under section 2 or 3 of mental health act if patient is at risk to self or others.
Dr Ejaz has worked with children, adolescents and adults with emotional dysregulation, personality disorders, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Eating disorders, Bipolar disorder, or psychotic illnesses such as, schizophrenia, drug induced psychosis, Autism and ADHD.
Dr Ejaz has a special interest in Autism and was involved with ADOS assessments in inpatient unit for children and adolescents in Berkshire. Currently she is working in ADHD pathway in Berkshire. Dr Ejaz has had personal life experiences with Autism, so it is very close to her heart.
Dr Ejaz has always been admired by young persons and colleagues for her compassionate approach and developing good therapeutic rapport with patients.
